Morning all. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. Thanks also to the regular contributors who make this thread enjoyable through the year.

The weather may not be as seasonal as we were hoping only a week or so ago…but it is only weather and will not spoil the joy and excitement of Santa’s big day, have fun all southwesterners, see you in 2022.

Gawd it’s grim today... although maybe the rain helps classify it as ‘interesting’?

Merry Christmas all!

  • Thanks 1

Morning All, and a….

to you all.

A misty start with rain showers in the vicinity, as over the past few days mild with the over night low of 5.4°C, currently 7.4°C with the RH97%, and a light easterly breeze..all in all a very much a usual December weather day..

Anyway, let’s enjoy, the festivities…

Merry Christmas everyone!

I did momentarily believe we stood a teeny, tiny chance of more festive weather this year, but alas it wasn't to be. Maybe next year Santa will hear my plea.

Merry Christmas

Dull and gloomy again with rain just arriving. Certainly no festive cheer from the weather today. 9.4°C

Looks like some heavy rain has moved into the SW. Probably an hour or so before it lands in N Somerset.

Well, it's been an "interesting" Christmas Day..due to Covid , the Christmas Lunch and festivities were scuppered so we ended up, cleaning the fridge...meanwhile the rain kept on coming, but the fridge kept me busy as the rain was ignored..

Currently 9.2°C after a peak of 9.5°C at: 16:53, and rainfall since midnight a mere 7.8 mm but the annoying type of rain rather than the volumes..tomorrow looks drier..

Nah, but my sons lodger has and we always do Christmas lunch with them. So wife says “Something stinks in that fridge, something has gone off..”   So with nowt better to do, she starts hauling everything out the fridge, to find the cause. Nothing found, but at least the fridge won’t get get Covid !

Meanwhile, after a mild night with the overnight low of 9.3°C at: 06:27, which is where it’s at right now, RH97% and no breeze, things might dry out a bit, today after yesterday's downpours. With a misty start it might take a while to shift unless we can get some sun to burn it off..
