Traditional Boxing Day football was Covid postponed so took advantage of a beautiful afternoon to get out for a walk with my boy.

Interesting evening locally ; thick fog on one side of Warminster, clear and starry on the other.

One of the many cumulus this afternoon that were forever changing shape and reflections in a bit of flooded field after 25mm rain in the last 48 hours.

Managed to get out for a walk before it started raining again. Looking forward to some bright sunny days. If we aren't getting snow, roll on Spring.

  • Thanks 1

Beka, based on the MetO long range forecast, can I suggest hibernation as an alternative to a day to day existence. May, I'm sure will improve as we go through the year..

I suspect based on the MetO outlook, Spring may be our best seasonal surprise, after all the MAD talk of cold, it really feels like the models had a MAJOR Glitch and the seasonal norm for us Southerners resumes...time may tell. The MetO, don't spend millions just to get it wrong, I'm sure..

Morning All, a showery start to the day, and more general rain crosses Wiltshire, but looks as though it might drop towards us in a while. Meanwhile the surf has eased back this morning
