She must be nearly over her bout of shingles as it lasts for a while, and really painful apparently. Tiz the season of Joy and merriment, good will to all Mother in Law's, you could have at least used lower case letters... (horrrrrahhh!!!), less painful infliction of hate!....

And the bloodshed and poking of eyes out in the MAD thread has been curtailed by our host @Mapantz "Get in there...."

And down here, currently 2.9°C  RH83% and the wind has dropped away, still from the East, but eased..

It has been a dreary old day with a lowering cloud base and intermittent slight rain

Yup pretty much bombed here too, after a really clear very early (after sunrise) sunny spell, it has gone downhill again..7.0°C at: 13:14, currently 6.5°C. Mind you we may not see these sorts of temperatures until 2022, so maybe we should enjoy!

Just about managed a rare air frost last night which was nice to see, that was followed by another cloudy day as usual. So tomorrow we swap cloudy and cold with cloudy and mild, so exciting...

Morning All, drizzle, mist and rain in the vicinity, ALL CHANGE...

After an overnight low of 7.5°C at: 00:00, the temperature has been slowly rising through the night as our traditional SW'ly air returns, currently 8.6°C with RH95% and a light breeze in from the SW..time to blow the HP gloom away..

Thank goodness we had a decent amount of bright/sunny conditions yesterday and Tuesday because today, for the umpteenth time this month, it is clearing at sunset!

Yup, just after sunset the cloudy skies moved eastwards, and cleared, to allow the planets view, (been missing for quite a few nights). The temperature seems to be on a slow amble downwards, currently 9.1°C after a double digit day,  could well be misty in the morning IF the breeze stays away with so much moisture around and lowering temps. Anyway, a different day so no complaints.

As we have all noticed (no doubt) Christmas wishes abound on the MAD thread, as people having burnt out, depart for a rest, before they begin round two, and the bloodshed starts all over. 

So towards Christmas Eve, time for last minute bargains is almost here (for anybody that didn't spend all on Black Friday)..My selfie present of a soil moisture probe has arrived, so that and the other temp probe will keep me busy for a while (in between chasing the f*******g foxes away, from digging and cr@ping in my garden)..

Morning All, a damp start this morning but a mild one with the overnight low 7.6°C at: 03:52, now 8.7°C with RH97 % with a light breeze in from the south..

As this mornings webcam shows, still overcast, no mist and some brave souls taking an early morning dip!
