Perhaps the fifty different shades of grey skies are getting folk down, certainly my motivation to do my day to days tasks/ activities takes a hit when the weather is like this! However at least the cold means I am justified in lighting  the fire and settling down with a wee …

Snow is forecast for me Saturday morning. For possibly the first time ever I'd like it to hold off until Sunday as I have important things Saturday. It certainly feels like snow is brewing out there, absolutely freezing. Winter is kicking in with a vengeance!

There really will not be enough snow, if it does actually snow, to cause any issues.

It was 6.7c when my alarm went off at 05:30 this morning; certainly the dog walk didn't feel too bad and no frost on fields, gardens nor ice on windscreen.  Weather station said the high achieved today was 7.1c at midday. Currently 3.8c with 91% humidity, some very light cloud.  No wind atm but what little there has been in last hour (1 mile per hour) is from a WSW veering South Westerly.  Pressure has been slowly but consistently falling from Monday evening's high of 1033.8hPa and currently 1018.7hPa falling slowly. No rain has fallen in the last 24 hours.

Nothing wintery showing on the MetO app for my village.  Friday forecast to be 7c with lots of rain symbols.  Saturday 6c, rain and a yellow wind warning.  My forecasted 'gales, rain or showers' suggests we don't qualify as a hill *sighs*

It'll be wet messy snow if at all, No real accumulations if any.

Hopefully I'm wrong with plenty of poached, fried  and scrambled on my face.

But it's great to have this excite in November, shades of 2009/10.

2 degrees this morning but feels much colder. Think I have been spoiled with the mild weather on the commute so far.

A broken fridge this today... where do you leave the milk..... outside lol never thought I would do that in me life. Certainly I remember in 1981 and 1987 the old milk bottles freezing when it was cold and freezing. What has amused me this morning is that bonkers warning map. So the whole country gets wind warning apart from our little ole corner but the gusts say 40-45!!!!

After a cloudy start, its been quite sunny so far today, temp 7 but that NW wind has a bite to it, not looking forward to the wind/rain fest this weekend, tomorrow onwards looks rubbish and I doubt we will see any flakes in the mess this weekend.

Most models suggesting a decent chance of falling snow across our region on Saturday, but almost no chance of anything settling unless you get v. lucky or live on a hill.

Then follows a chilly Sunday & Monday with temps barely above freezing in places. Nice!

Beautiful crisp winter's day, managed to get out of work early and catch the sunset over the river. Looking forward to an exciting mix of weather over the weekend ?️?️☀️PXL_20211125_153134582.thumb.jpg.bc2ba183fbcde38e9f10fb1fa55f519b.jpg

Looks like a boring, tedious, banal, monotonous, dreary, tiresome, uninteresting, humdrum, non event for London. Yes I just found my Thesaurus which went missing 5 years ago.
