As a purely anecdotal”nowcast” in south brum currently we have those very persistent little flakes of snow that just build and build. It’s the best coverage and duration in Birmingham since 2018 - will it give the same depths and outcome, I don’t think so! I’m not complaining though, today has been fun and interesting!

Still light to moderate snow here and feels like mid winter, local lanes round here are now being covered by snow.

Temp -1c on the Davis.

Haha, yes, it’s looking nice out now. Spent most of the day fixing my car in the wet snow. 🥶

@Battleground Snow ukmo keeps the 0 degree isotherm across leicester throughout tomorrow!!!!❄️

Jealous!

ECM mean seems to have made up it's mind for here, although there are a few stragglers.

25 mile shift is just about doable on a nowcast situation, seen some talk the low is further south on satellite also.

Looks it on satellite about an hour ago when I looked. Haven't checked it since.

The Icon 18z and UKV will be interesting to see if they shift a few miles south.

Edit: still a tad south.

It and the UKV keep it all as snow over me but the mild wedge to the west of the Peak District shown on all models could ruin it. Looks like like a bit of foehn effect.
