Cosford Air show may bit a bit iffy? Glad to say i saw the eurofighter (anock01) chinnuk being filmed by a light aircraft and the Swiss air Patroille whilst working during the day, whilst working outside near Lightmoor, Telford.

From clear to this lot didnt take long 30 mins or so, A nice afternoon cloud and plane spotting on the inbounds for cosford

Altocumulus castellanus cloud forming overhead. A sign of instability and rising humidity, and often a precursor to late evening thunderstorms ️

Bubbling up nice here be it fast moving clouds (shear winds?) Still breezy 28.1c Can the cap be breached?

Looks like so in typing, NE Hereford and SE Evesham Glousester too

Hi all,  so close to the magical 30c …..I maxed out today at 29.4c

Looks very dark out to the west at the moment. I don’t think we will get any storms but I think some in the West Midlands might!

All the fun is just to my West and the skies are as black as you can get

A corking thunderstorm here 4.32 to 6.32pm..

Continuous thunder for 50 mins or so crazy long duration big bolts of lightning mixed in..

The shower just steady rain and its evaporated away not dampened the dust yet..but overhead thorm..

What a day 30C hit for the first time and getting some direct hits from the thunderstorms now.

A maximum of 28.5c here today making it the hottest June day since the 29th in 1976 when 29.1c was recorded. Thunder heard  a few miles to the south between 1740 and 1755 g.m.t but it's stayed completely dry here.
