It's freezing out there now, noticeably colder than its been for a while, winters back, just not snowy winter. Wonder how many more times before we warm up properly this year.

Had a low of 2.9 overnight, but at least it stayed dry! The wind is still sinking from the northeast bringing ribbons of precipitation down, some possibly of sleet, although it's mostly in the north sea.

Hopefully this is the last sign of it , Winter was fun while it lasted but had enough now.

washing on the line dried already 😄 loving the warmth of the sun and no cold breeze here in SE London

currently 11c but in direct sun it feels a bit warmer than that.

Bugger all here, too. At least 2013-14 had some juicy wintertime thunderstorms. It had more snow, too!

just to add to that. the seasons seem to have adjusted these last ten years.

  • spring - sometime seems like summer
  • end of summer seems like autumn
  • winter never comes
  • autumn is longer than ever

No thanks to the cold rain. If only it would be snow instead. Would rather a UK high than a scandi one otherwise. It would be nice and warm, and can could finally sort the garden for spring, summer.

MY DDs football team has managed 4 football matches since the start of December due to weather interruptions and no doubt this Saturday will be a water-logged pitch again and then it is a 2 week break for Easter and then we are in to the final few matches of the season.  Last year she was golden boot for her age group, this year she is likely to miss out just because she is half a dozen matches down.

And here but was expecting it, low cloud type fog, meridian forecast it, and so did eagle eye, with the word crud lol. Basically cloud in the way of storms forming.

Nothing of note has happened here ..mixable or should I say miserable yesterday but other than that Nada ,bit drizzle low cloud etc ..cant right home about it because I am home  🙂

A very boggy and soggy Fergus walk today, but when it rains and your the far side of a 200 acre farm there isn’t much option but to carry on, Alpacas don’t mind getting wet and every day is a bad hair day anyway, I on the other had looked a muddy wet mess afterwards 😀

Just seen a swallow fly by near a farm - not sure if I've seen them here this early? crackers!
