This thread died quick.Signs of another cold shot later in the month looking less likely now, probably explains the lack of posts in here.

Might as well shut it down once their is no sign of any cold weather around!

I disagree. I think we  are in with a shout around 6am tomorrow morning

It will liven up when the first warm spell arrives, convective and thunderstorms. It isn't just the cold people post here for.

I was thinking that, getting exciting now as we look forward to the first warm spells and some light shows.🤞

The winds here are rather destructive.

I didn't see any warnings.

There's fences and branches everywhere here?

Impressive to see temps drop from midnight through the morning. Kenley airfield just down the road from here went from 8.7C and rain at midnight to 1.4C and snow at 10am

Probably wind related.

Unusually it was windier inland than it was on the coast today, usually the other way round.

Morning All. A very cold wind this morning with precipitation moving over this area likely as sleet or wet snow 🌨.  Outlook is still unsettled with any warmer interludes, marred by strong winds and rain ☔

Wasn’t that rain meant to have cleared through already? I see the heavy stuff is just approaching London - it was 5 hours to get gone before I arrive (please 😊)

Sunny and windy at home this morning, currently 5c.

@Arch Stanton another impressive drop overnight - dropped 2c in 10 minutes when the winds flipped south to north

Miserable morning here in Locksbottom with rain starting at 8am and just stopped at 10.25.Had a bit of back edge sleet and as seen with elevation wet snow  in places like knockholt although no settling.Looks like an improving day now although a little chilly.Rest of the week looks milder with daytime temps 10-12  so hopefully the heating won’t be coming on as often as last week.👍👍
