I never let the room temp drop below 20 as I have budgies.

17.4°C in the lounge.

The heating has gone onto a presetting of 18°C... quite conservative and about comfortable in 3 layers.

Still easily getting into the 19-20c range downstairs, a times this week upstairs has managed to get past the 20.0c mark as well. As long as there is some sunshine and temps above 14-15c this place tends to warm up nicely, once we lose those two things thats when I suspect things will start to really get cold inside.

Almost 18°C without heating, due to continued mild weather.

Window closed all night and woke up to an indoor temp of 27°C (no heating on)

London new builds are furnaces in the summer but c'mon it's 4 days until November, we need some cooler airmasses

It was 19.4 in my bedroom last night (no heating).

That is a crazy indoor temp for late October, considering that it's such an old house which doesn't have the best insulation. It would normally be around 15 by now.

27°C?? 😱 Christ, I don’t know how you Londoners cope with that kind of heat indoors. It only reached 27°C indoors here during the extreme heat in July, and I was boiling, I dread to think how hot it got inside your place. 🥵

Interesting stuff. I do keep a record of indoor temps myself (as well as outdoor temps and humidity etc) but not to the same extent you do!
