My house is kept at 15C in daylight and 14C when i sleep as i like it a little cooler when i sleep so i can really snuggle up in my quilt or with someone without sweating like a pig 😆

also being hot makes me irritable so 15C is perfect

Bedroom temp at a comfortable/chilly 19-20°C with the recent cooler weather. Relative to my current room temps, 12-14°C would be absolutely freezing..! 🥶

Just had an interesting conversation with  temporary live in carer of elderly client of mine, who is appalled that heating is currently off and that override thermostat only kicks in when it falls below 12c.  She quoted stats at me to the effect that house should be minimum 18c in all rooms.  Haven’t yet told her that her client  is a bit tight-fisted with heating (client spends day in kitchen lounge with aga on 24/7, and client’s bedroom is above said kitchen, so she’s toasty.  Rest of house (Victorian lodge) is reassuringly fresh…..

I keep the house between 19-21C generally, I don't like it going to cool, i notice if it goes below 17C for to long i feel the cold and my cat with arthritis becomes much less active and sleeps a lot more, so i fear it may start to affect her arthritis and she ends up in discomfort.

I do, have 3 and they are my children. She has an injection every month and she's like a kitten again but of I let the house get to cold I think she feels it in her legs as you can see the change in her and she doesn't seem happy then. 20c seems to be a good temp to keep the house at and she's happy then lol.

Hovering in the high teens in most rooms with moderate heating on/off this week.

I've noticed how sitting in a room with a warm laptop and the boiler can make a room 1-3c warmer than without such as in another bedroom!

Currently 14 Celsius downstairs whilst it is 16.3 Celsius upstairs and 66% humidity.

We don't have the heating on until it's dark.

I don't use heating overnight so the lounge had gone down to a shocking 12.5°C when I got up. Heating's on now though obviously.

Easily the coldest indoor temperature of the season today with it dropping to 14.6°C late this afternoon just before the heating came on

Keeping the house at 19c during the day, 20 or 21 c on evenings, although kept it at 20c today as lit the stove. It’s the damp (frequent showers today) that makes it feel cool so thought “sod it”, light the fire, got loads of ‘paperwork’ to burn anyway 👍🏼

Living with parents does come with a number of benefits. Not being able to decide when the heating is turned on definitely isn't one of them. I do help out with the bills of course but that doesn't mean I get to turn it on any earlier. And the house isn't exactly the warmest. Times like this I miss the open fire we had at our old house which would have been lit today I'm sure. Forgot to look how cold it was inside today but probably similar to the 14.6°C of yesterday. Nice and warm now though as the heating has finally come on.

Currently a nice comfortable 20.5°C and 52% humidity. So the heating is obviously on.

If not, then the temp would be around 14.5°C.

I thought it was warm as it feels nice now but it's still only 18.2°C with the heating on for an hour, slowly getting there. At least the room I spend most time in warms up far quicker than any other.
