Judging by the radar / detectors Selsey could be a good vantage point for over the sea lightning watch...hoping for more later here but touch and go at the moment or a long wait

Yeah thought there would be more prolific lightning by now, The radar is a bit less active but the bow echo sort of signature is interesting.

Mega storm just through here in Shrewsbury. Watched it come in from a hill south of town with lots of sheet lightening. Couple of ICs too. Then scampered back home trying to beat the rain but got clobbered in the car as we could see more ICs around.

Rain was epic with some high winds at the peak. Heavy Rain through now and watching the flashes at it heads north and east.

Quite a show and good as we really had nothing here in 2022 so far.

Nope in my opinion.  They're extremely rare and quite devastating damage wise x

New Met Office thunderstorm warning for tonight in the South East and East Anglia. So that's done it, now a guaranteed fail!

More active on the horizon looking S from Odiham. And after the lovely stillness the wind has picked up, trees are swaying and I guess not long until the deluge.

Still waiting for a storm. Nothing so far this year in East lancs. A couple of ridiculously distant rumbles heard back in June, very distant lightning seen in August, but nothing decent at all this year! However, my head is banging so this will either be:

1) a sign of a storm heading my way finally...

Or...

2) First day back at work tiredness.

All the sferics for this storm are passing to the north of me, so getting bands of torrential rain, but see little in the way of lightning, and no thunder heard yet.

Keeping an eye on this incase it gets heavier for something. Still 4 hours left of storm warning yet but yeah everything seems to be West or North

Very welcome rain here in Hedge End, we’ve had a good run of thunderstorms too this year, also a real trend of these types of storms later in the season!

Roads in Hedge End village was flooded all the way across about 25mins ago! Just got home and water coming through the conservatory roof!

Clear skies overhead here in Caterham, but clouds to the southwest and west lighting up with lightning, hopefully a second night in a row with thunder and hopefully it comes through earlier than last night.
