Extremely wet here in North London, and lots more to come by the looks of it.

Grim.

Clearing West - East now. give it an hour and it should be drier.

I did have a walk in the heavier rain earlier, only because i don't mind walking in the rain. however i do not like Pina Colada's 😄 😄 😄

I thought it was the Meteorological start to Winter on Thursday 21st 😬

Even the possibility of Storm Gerrit leaves the SE in no mans land with Oop norf getting all the fun *sighs*

finally, the penny drops in the MOD thread that it isn't going to snow over Christmas⏲️

Took more than a penny. I reckon in this day and age about a quid... a penny is way too subtle to take the hint 😄

Well at least the risk of Equatorial Fluxing has passed. Imagine that after a load of stuffing on Christmas Day., 😉

They all need another hobby, one that is fulfilling has a point to it, and achieves something.

it's ok guys, the winds getting up. I've just put lights on our outside trees.

Might be worth taking them down, and putting them back after tomorrow. Living where I am, I don't even think about outside Christmas lights, always see people's not working after storms lol, would normally be ok in land, but tomorrow might be a bit iffy Midlands northwards, and probably along most of the east coast as it moves east.

it's ok, they aren't big trees,  a couple of firs by the door.

Crikey, very windy this early morning. I forgot to put the recycling out so popped outside to sort that out and nearly blew away. Next doors stuff has blown into mine too!

Watching the bush to gadge wind, and it's actually still, not very windy down here in Dover at all.

Very windy out there. Got woken up a few times in the night by bigger gusts knocking things over

Unbelievable mild Christmas Eve and Christmas day coming up 14c isn’t out of the question, the worse we can experience this time of year, I’ve been away in May and been freezing…not going to feel Christmas like at all

Very mild outside today. It was a bit windy overnight but that has calmed down and there was virtually no rain and there is even a bit of sunshine now.

It's a comfortable 18.6 indoors with no heating on. Whilst not very festive at least this weather is keeping the heating bills down.
