After all is said and done with Xmas weather in other topic threads, it's still not that mild relatively. The strong winds are chilly if you are out and about, pretty grey too. Not sure what the 25th will turn out to be but as i have said previously, most folk are indoors for a good part of the day; so what does it matter what it's like outside 🙂

plus, as said above, the less heating needed is a bonus for the hard stretched households suffering cost of living expenses. Full house, cooking been done, a few drinkypoos  who needs whatever the weather is doing? 😄 😄

I will be cooking for 6 adults this year.... love it! it keeps me in the kitchen away from everyone 🤣

Going to be a short day today ......

Not for me it’s not I’m working long and hard today & tomorrow- I’ve hardly had time to look up and notice the windy weather outside I’m too busy creating magic ✨

I’ll be all glittered out by Saturday so planning a PJ day as long as the grocery delivery isn’t lacking in anything essential I’ll have no reason to leave the house 🤩

happy Christmas to all 🎄

When do the 'little darlings' pack up from school for xmas? Hoping for a quiet commute to work and home tomorrow without loud kids, loud phones, loud parents telling their loud kids off.....

Brilliant

....just a shame it is in game online and not outside. But I will take it, as the closest I'll ever get to a white Christmas 😄

Unfortunately by the time I drove around the corner for a better view unobstructed by houses, some boring normal clouds had rolled in hiding them.

I first noticed the nacreous clouds just before sunset when out running. I took these photos after I got home.

A friend shared this, taken 4.10pm a few miles from here. My gut instinct told me it was a "polar stratospheric cloud", but is a nacreous the same thing?

Shame I missed this as I have never seen one before!

Wow 😲 I fell for that hook link & sinker, even looking to see what trees they are whilst thinking that can't be Kent, surely? 😁

Some nice photos emerging of the PSCs/Nacreous clouds 👍

Very windy out there. Got woken up a few times in the night by bigger gusts knocking things over

Ut was very calm over night here, and wind wasn't anything to write home about, at any point today.

It is a very eerie kind of yellow outside, could this be to do with the volcanic eruption in Iceland as the wind direction is from that way?
