Holy crap it’s windy!

Every time I look out for nacreous clouds at dawn or dusk, it's at least cloudy, often raining! Stop now!!

Heavy shower on again now, it's gone really dark. Gawd.

Usual festive weather here in Ayrshire 11c windy and miserable. For Xmas day we will see double digits again..... Horrid !! Ach well the kings eleven won n beers n bubbly in fridge !! Merry Xmas !!

Gorgeous nacreous display ongoing to the west of here.

The first and only time I saw nacreous clouds was when I was in Kingsbarns, sometime around the Millennium -- and what a wonderful sight they were!

Its a relatively small area of nacreous but it's putting up a lovely show.

6c, brisk WSW wind and still patches of snow lying around.

Visible here too but quite a bit of lower cloud blowing through so not as clear as recently.

Keep posting them !! Tracking a wee one out East currently but colours nowhere near as vivid as your image Quinach!

Just seeing a little bit of nacreous here to the south-west but it's only a bit colourful so far...

Brilliant nacreous clouds! Really made my day.

Sky cleared a little. Windy with the odd spit and spot blowing through. Feeling much colder than the 9.0C my w/s is showing.

The smaller clouds have good colour too but doesn't show in the photos.

Nacreous clouds visible here too.  Photo not so great.
