It's been a picture perfect spring day, and even better knowing there is no immediate rain on the horizon.

Sun setting on a very reasonable day (if your a City fan).

If you look closely   you may be able to see the A380 over the sun  heading into Manchester Airport.

Had Worse it’s been an half decent day being a Burnley fan although it’s a bit easier when your expectations are measured in games won rather than trophy’s won😂

relegation still pretty well nailed on but a few points picked over the easy games of Man U away, Newcastle at home and Spurs away 🤞and my the next game on the Turf, the last one against Forest could be an interesting couple of hours.

as for the weather, been in the sunshine at Cheshire Oaks for a good few hours but the cloud at home disappeared and since late afternoon it’s been lovely.

As for tomorrow, forecast not as good but providing its dry it’ll do.

A decent day in the end after late morning cloud cleared. Pity that Crewe Alex couldn't produce anything against Wrexham, but when you're playing against a side bankrolled by Hollywood, it's probably not very surprising.

A fine Spring day coinciding with a Saturday. Plenty of people making the most of it, warm enough to sit out thanks to light winds and plenty of warm sunny spells, temps up close to 14 degrees.

A cold start again, widespread air frost, Shap down to -3.6.

Morning all.  Dry start temp earlier at 6am was 7.2°C so no frost here this am. Yesterday was only the second day so far this month without any rainfall the whole day long, tis a bit poor.  Rain moving down into the region at some point later today.

A dry day yesterday and a dry start this morning……..when will this dry spell ever end🤔

as already said, probably later today so a bit of a wait for the late sleepers to surface and then my morning will be making the most of it by cutting the grass and a bit of tidying up then possibly off over the border to see grandson and family.

already 4 months old, does time fly.

iand61 great win for you yesterday.
going down to the last game of the season for us.  I just can’t see Derby losing at Carlisle.

Cloudy start but it’s turned  into a lovely sunny morning now and feels pleasantly warm.

I haven’t seen the forecast today but it’s certainly better than I was expecting looking at what yesterdays was saying.

grass cut and strimmed so off over the top and down Calderdale to see the little lad and family.

A mild morning current temp 12 degrees, but cloudy, and not expecting much increase, the rain radar shows sporadic ragged outbreaks of light rain to our north, with a heavier pulse over central east Scotland.. whether that reaches us, or heads further east remains to be seen.

Expecting a few spits and spots in the air next few hours, perhaps more sustained light rain later on. Not the most inspiring day, but far from a write off.

A cool breeze however the early morning cloud has broken up and the sun is shining. 12.3C in the shade and 15C in the sun. Surprised to see so much blue sky about. Hopefully a brighter day than forecasted. 🙂

Dry for 36 hours now. I had  forgotten how nice it is to not have everything soaking wet and only just a bit damp

Absolutely lovely here at the moment, sunshine, blue sky and lenticular type clouds.  Marvelous,  off out along the canal.

A great view of the lenticular clouds over Winter Hill from Pennington Flash.

Rush2019 I was going to post that the lenticular clouds were interesting.  Your post and the next one show them well.

Two nice days in a row, over a weekend too.  We are being spoilt!  I will discount the few sprinkles of rain whilst running early this morning!!

So much better than it looked on the forecast 48 hrs ago. Barely a cloud in the sky, apart from those mentioned above. Little breeze, so feeling warm in the sun whilst out walking the dog. There's very little competition, but the best weekend for weather so far this year.

Not a bad day. Dry with occasional sunny intervals, around 11–12°C.
been in the garden putting a new canopy on the gazebo and bolting it down after it went for a walk last week.

football later, hopefully we can see some improvement after that embarrassing European exit on Thursday night. No goals in open play for 6 or so hours is not acceptable.
