Don't believe it. Just checked the birding blogs and found this message from yesterday...

Then time checked it with my message to the OH from when I was walking back to the car from Lytchett bay. 😂

Morning All, one of those showery days as the heavens open again

image.thumb.png.eda8d5c70a82fcceb2af099a0b451de5.png

The overnight low of 8.7°C at: 05:06, has managed to reach 13.6°C at: 10:56 before dropping back a bit, RH84% with a light / strengthening to fresh breeze from the SW.

From Above showing the band of showers over us at the moment

On Golden sands, looking blustery and choppy

Just the one shower so far, to coincide with a cheese toastie. Back to bright and breezy digging now, as the heavier stuff passes to the West. 🤞🏼

When you reach Didcot you'll still be a Northerner in the group, south of Newbury puts you just about far enough south to become a southerner in the group.🤪

By 'eck it's looking damp then wet in the area

Annoying off and on drizzling mess, so binned it off for an afternoon in the greenhouse to get some seeds in. At least it's warm in here.

Just for a change… it’s raining again.

I was quite surprised to get a lightning notification at 3am this morning as I wasn’t expecting anything. Both yesterday and today have been positively un-thundery.

What looked to be quite a deluge has turned out to be a dribble, so far 1.7mm of rain from this front, the heavier rain appears to be off to the north.

3 days in a row where most of the daytime has been the better conditions, admittedly today had several heavy showers though.

The same trend looks likely tomorrow thankfully but several (MORE!) bouts of heavy rain overnight first!

Have to say I see this weekends setup being pretty unfavourable for us. Certainly not going to see much sunshine and with the breeze whatever the thermometer is reading it won’t feel overly warm.
