Definitely the worst weather event since I moved to Stoke in terms of expectation vs reality. Just wish I hadn't told everyone.

Turned back to rain here now.Probably got around 3cm on top of the car but melting fast.

 Neil Harris The Met Office would have got a caning if they had forecasted heavy rain instead of a foot of snow, so I suppose they can't win really. It's disappointing though for those wishing for snow.🙁

Maybe no mention? Haven't looked at forum properly but don't like what GFS is showing for Monday, 1st day of half term, full on washout on 00 and 06

10cm here and  it's almost stopped snowing. Not much more to come by the look of the latest radar.

it is well spotted, my Dad said when he was a kid he used to sledge down it from the village, long way back up though

Still snowing here with around 8/10cm, many local roads are impassable without a 4x4 now.

A friend tells me the snow is bad up in Weston Coyney. Absolutely nothing in Stoke itself.

winters have become snowless here in coventry for the last few years. i think the last time it actually snowed properly was back in 2018.

but other then a few sharp frosts this winter will go down just as bad as last as totally snowless.
