Not sure on the location but I discovered it on my Twitter feed some very nice depths. RE: the warnings I think they have been rather shambolic on snow totals and it being restricted to the hills. 2-5cm above c. 200m well in quite a few places it's been quadruple the upper figure. Enjoy the snow while it lasts...

Well, warming up here an impressive 7.5C rather wet too still expect to see some good old flakes in the next 36 hours. The northern folks who perverse to moan ect cannot comprehend the degree of suffering often endured by a snow starved Londoner, It is an abomination. Watching the radar imagery is interesting the front seems to be pivoting around Yorkshire, I'm sure some hill is going to get buried to my despair...

Lol I think 3 Cheshire snow will confirm.

Probably a good thing! Thankfully I do not get carried away with MetO warnings looking at the Hirlam suggest it might be a silly move the stalling occlusion does eventually make its way down S into nightfall so some snow for those S of M4 before the day is out?.....even before parts of East Anglia like Peterborough may have seen a prolonged spell of snow, according to this model temperatures struggling 2-3C as of 1600, which does not remove the threat of precip being just snow on uplands say 200-300m on some hill, something which I think the warnings have not highlighted well with evaporative cooling being a decisive factor, although this appears more like a N Midlands event will be interesting to watch it unfold.

What Did You Think of Winter 2015/16?
Daniel* replied to BlueHedgehog074's topic in Spring Weather Discussion
Warmest winter on record for London speaks volume a dastardly wicked winter gladly confined to history. It promised so much and delievered so little El Niño put to that. Snow - 1.5/5 Frosts - 2/5 Cold spells - 1/5 -
I believe so after some research, well they're usually found in the suburbs of S/W London not a inner London borough, however the environment is ideal for them...largest population of them in the country exists in suburbs of South London, would be interesting if parakeet(s) established a population round here well he or she needs a lady/man friend. I love the vibrant green colours. Apparently they're deemed as pests?
