Come on then guys, what are we expecting? Although i would love to think this is a major event on the cards my experience tells me to expect maybe a couple of centimetres over the next few days.

Im going for 2cm by the morning here.

I hope my guess is well off the mark though

I had same problem, its ok though :cold: Its constant cloud cover causing temps to rise. When theres clear spells it will drop. When its cloudy with snow showers, it will drop in heavier precip. Its just the affect we are getting because of the north sea. Dont worry about it...

Things looking good now, snowing in hull.

Good luck mate i hope you get some snow

Thats what it's all about, I felt about 8 years old again.

Even my 8 years old looked at me funny when I started to make snow angels :)

Has west Suffolk had its quota for today, or is more expected before breakfast tomorrow?

Hard to tell from the radar - and talk everywhere is of the Thames Streamers and the snow in Kent - but not sure how many showers are expected off the North sea inland, or even travelling up from the south.

Would appreciate a heads up on what is coming, if someone could spare the time

Thanks

EDIT - ignore me - wrong area :) Mods please delete xx

Evening all,

I am right on the coast about 3 miles north of Mabo and we have had lots of showers today but mainly soft hail with a few snow flurries mixed in. There is a slight dusting now but its still not "proper" snow. I am hoping for a similar event to Easter last year when we had 10cms. Have a good evening.

Looking at the radar it looks like Nottingham will see a heavy shower around 8pm...

Or it may just miss us

I looked at the Meto one, a moderate intensity band with Nottingham's name on it was my opinion! Let's wait and see, eh?
