Stopped again now with only a few bits left on the ground...

Certainly is! Looking forward to seeing it covered in snow - should really look like an 1800's postcard then!

Looks like there is a more organised band of showers coming in from the N.Sea around the Humber area, looks good for some trough disturbance :good:

I probably count as East Mids - 3 or 4 showers here (Belper), each one more beefy than the last, currently 0degC.

All good dry snow - hopefully just a taster of things to come!

Last half hour we have had a rest bite in Newark, just the odd flake blowing around in the wind. A good few centimetres lying on the grass and rooftops, just a dusting on pavements though. More showers beginning to pack in again now, expecting heavier falls to return again within the next 20 minutes or so.

Here we go again, heavy snow shower just started here and looking at the radar I could have a constant stream of them over the next several hours.

2cms lying on the grass and rooftops.

Dusting on minor roads and pavements.

Approaching 'blizzard like' conditions have returned once again to Newark. Very dark, strong Easterly wind, huge flakes - Could it get any better? :)
