Blue sky and sun out now, looks like i was right, epic fail for my location.

You joking?

Where abouts in Lincoln are you? Accumilations beginning to be reported around the town centre area.

Shower left the slightest of dusting's on the grass, looking at the radar all the action is around 15 to 20 miles further south than me. I'm not to bothered though because this only a bonus at the moment. Showers should really start to kick off later today. Hoping for a covering by morning

After a max of 5C earlier, it's now 2.2C here. Had a decent shower about 30 mins ago, which dropped temp by 2C, looks like another shower brewing to my east.

That is not what will bring you the best snowfall mate, you don't even need them to progress further north. Convection is only just starting to pickup.. by 5 or 6pm frequent and heavy snow showers will be affecting your area, affecting parts from NE England right into the SE corner, and pushing well inland to affect many central and some western areas.

Nope, deadly serious, i'm about 5 miles from the town centre.

I'm about 3 miles south of the city centre and there's not much here either. We are getting showers but it's fairly wet snow and only laying on the grass. The roads are completely clear.

Really not a big event...........yet. Guess we may well see more tonight ready for rush hour tomorrow.

To give you an idea of the rate snow is accumilating here, my next door neighbour has already successfully constructed two medium sized snowmen! :D

Nottingham's copping a shower, probably that one from Newark earlier! :D

Much more heading your way mate... over the last few hours it's been a case of heavy shower, 10 minute rest bite, then the next one packs in - great for accumilations! :D

Hi,

Bit of a sit rep from Cleethorpes.

Wind force 6-7 and blowing ENEish, was out in the boat this morning and there were plenty of big clouds out in the North Sea.

Showers keep packing in on the strong wind and occaisionally the boats out in the anchorage disapear. From what i have seen, alot of the showers are heading in land Sth of my location and in the direction of Tetney-Mablethorpe......with only a few to the north ,Immingham area etc.Had a couple of flurries in Cleethorpes but nothing to write home about. As i type it looks like another shower is blowing in...........

Rgds

i can now conferm that the showers have more easterly track!

They are coming from the East, they are not tracking east though. :)

Definate WWS-SW track.
