Wowser!

Being down here on the coast, should I be excited by those pictures. So far it has been an utter let down for us down here in SE Kent. Brilliant for you guys, but naddah for us...

Looks like My plan of going to bed as there was just a dusting last night did not work. Woke up this morning and there is still just a dusting here on the North Suffolk coast. Knowing my luck now it will turn to rain.

Morning everyone - we have just under 2 inches at the moment - kids well pleased have enough to make a snowman. :(:(

Tell your kids that what you have right now is part one. Part two is on it's way from France :o :o

Well, I can't get any pics until it gets lighter....but a DVD case doesn't even poke it's top above the snow on top of my car...about 8 inches or thereabouts...and it's still going! :o

Fan-bloody-tastic! :( :o

Yeah and I hope it is worse than what we have already received in this area. About 1.5/2inches, not bad I guess, but this is the best I have seen UK snow in my life so I'm hoping to see what others in London have seen.....

Really want it to brighten up a bit so I can take some photos. Unusually the sun isn't forecast to come out today so melt should be at a minimum!

Travelling back from Bristol to Kent last night took me 6 hours. The M25 was unbelievable. Couldn't make the road out for the depth of snow from J9-3. Amazing.

Here in Hextable I'd say we have a good 4-5 inches.

First ever post having lurked for several years on various weather forums.

I'd been waiting for a 'special' snow event and........

Here in Bromley I estimated we have 10" of level snow.

I will measure officially when light.

The snow continues to fall...

Here are some pictures from 10.30pm approx. last night 9-10cms at that time.

Morning Folks

Well looks like the snow really has come, I've not even got off first base with my travel plans as my flight from Limoges to Stansted has been cancelled, so I can't get back to see the snow. I'm thinking of driving back but there is no point if the M20 and the M2 are closed. Anybody any idea what the latest status is on those motorways..

Cheers

FC
