Looks like there is a lull, and I have a load of work to do tomorrow (it being the last day of the transfer season), so good luck all and lets hope the fun continues tomorrow!

Night all,

Scott.

Thunder heard to my east.

Don't you start!!!! :D

Heavy snow has intensified. Just had a look out in the front and OMG it really is that bad out there.

I will be measuring 9-10 inches soon and the main heavier band of snow has not even arrived yet :D:D

probably around 5 inches of snow here in east london. although it seems from the radar and other peoples comments that the heaviest shower activity during the past couple of hours has been in south london.

Just praying that this mini streamer from east kent is going to hit me. It's touch and go. I really need a good direct hit to top everything up before the second blast, partic since the second blast could turn to rain.

Very envious of people with 8 inches. I might get to see it tomorrow though on my way back to oxford on the working trains and other public transport... :D

Lol...it's official. Biggin Hill...snow up to the hub of my 19 inch alloys.

Went on a experimental road test to see about getting to Plumstead in a bit...it's not happening! The main route out of Biggin is covered with snow and there really is no grip...not even in 3rd/4th.

Beginning to regret having a 2.5 V6 front wheel drive....... :D

on past 4 inches here- thats +10cms....

GFS 00z is amazing out to 144 as long as we lose the little mild bit thurs-
