Absolutely throwing it down here now, everything nice and white, big fluffy flakes :o

No warnings out for here despite meto saying this:

Thursday:

Sunny spells and scattered snow showers, becoming frequent and heavier later. Freshening northwest winds, risk of gales and blizzard conditions for Shetland. Maximum temperature 3 °C.

It is incredible the METO haven't even issued a slight warning for your area. They just don't care. I lost faith a long time ago with them.

Be interesting if a Scottish Met Office was ever set up. They would at least have a better grip on things.

East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire :D

Sorry mate, dismal attempt by me trying to be funny there. Its just seems to have become a catchphrase sine the Channel 4 series of the same name...

Anyway, theres no question that 700ft up you're going to catch it from all sides a lot of the time. Yup, its all about "location location location" for East Kilbride.

The band is becoming slow moving, you will have your chance, but just pray it gives your location a good dumping of snow. :D

Gail on Reporting Scotland @ 6.55pm (she is a little cutie :( ) mentions shed loads for Aberdeenshire.

Other notable areas were Edinburgh, eastern areas. The west looked like it had nothing..I'm inbetween east and west so dunno what I'll get - rain? LOL

I've been in EK since 1998 before that I was in Glasgow. :(

You should move to Lindsayfield next to Greenhills in EK.

Ahead of Lindsayfield in EK is the Eaglesham Moors.
