It's snowing here right now. Temp is 1c.

Less then a mile from you and it's still raining here though very light.

It was sleeting here an hour ago - now dry, but apparently 10 miles west at East Grinstead it was snowing heavily, typical! Seen some cars go through town with thick snow on their roofs.

What I have found in recent years is that my neck of the woods in Shirley, Croydon is usually colder as it is away from the main Croydon centre.

I can't believe how it's gone...we get seven inches on monday afternoon from something that wasn't forecast locally, and then the expectations of monday evening and all through the week have been dashed so that now we're almost back to green grass and sludge. I keep thinking to myself....

Used to think that life was sweet,

Used to think we were so complete,

I can't believe now

It's melted away!

It's not funny, we don't get snow anymore

Lots of snow falling atm (blizzards on the hills) and settling — even on the wet roads — another inch or two is on the cards for us tonight, especially if the temperatures drop away as forecast.

I want a beautiful snowy cold crisp w/e, please.

Really? we had snow all day monday then snow thursday and today! We have had snow on the ground all week.

We have quite a few inches of snow still around with verlanium park/lake having a lot still there with the lake already frozen.

There are some quite intense echoes in a narrow band moving north east from the channel through towards Kent at the moment ,i would expect some places in the far south east could well get 5 cms out of this before it finally clears tonight places like broadstairs and seveboaks but decending to lower ground as we move through the evening
