Erm a good few sferics have been detected and can now hear deep booms of thunder.

well not here mate, only a rumble of thunder, no flashes yet. still though, we got hit head on by that shower, seem to have bore the brunt.

Well things here are looking better now, convection is kicking of like mad although mostly to the south, but it should head this way.

Well things here are looking better now, convection is kicking of like mad although mostly to the south, but it should head this way.

Can hear a few deep rumbles of thunder, just a few miles south of me. Should be with me shortly.

what do you know, the met office have a warning out, but its too late, as the beastly storm has just passed. sounding very mean to our east now, the cell evident.

Few flashes and loud thunder now, no rain as of yet, it is soooooooooooooooo muggy.

all that convection turned into anvil heads in t he end.....I can see them to my East....guess about 20 ish miles

sferics increasing :o

I just know that this is going to miss me by less than a mile, going dark to my south and huge towering cumulonimbus approaching, and I think I can hear very, very distant thunder.

Yep, will miss me by about 5 miles, headed W. Very dark and so hot right now.

That storm passed now, few flashes and some nice thunder pretty weak though, just starting to rain now on the backedge not as heavily as i thought it would though.

Hot sunshine here. Can now see Cb tops due south. One probable in the direction of deepest Staffs and the other over Shropshire. Will interesting in watching this development.

Hearing thunder now. Not looking at the radar as I will just get angry! Breeze is picking up and the sun has gone.
