Sure did; I saw some great IC lightning, some was right overhead. Surprised me because it was so early!

Yep, had some CG lightning here along with CC.

Hi all

In brighton at the mo - storm has passed at about 3ish I think - wonderful. There seems to be another one brewing out in the sea but it is shifting along the coast rather than inland unless anyone has radar shot to pick what it is doing...? I dont have access at the mo?

Hey! nice cb just passed over in the last 30mins. 3-4mm hail followed by heavey rain. funnel cloud was lookin likely with the rotation. Some great cg lightning and a few good cracks of thunder. Its on its way southeast ish. Enjoy :D

Some pictures, rubbish phone quality tho.

Joey.

All activity seems to be moving ESE Polar so I think those storms you are seeing out to sea will stay out there Im afraid

Keep eyes NW ilsewin!

Some quite intense looking cells, albeit not especially organised at the moment, on a collision course with London assuming they don't swing E!

At the moment, they look pretty potent, and I should think now we are under the clear skies, the rising temperatures/evaporation can only be a good thing to keep it pokey on its trip down, lol

That first batch was very disappointing. A lot of rain, a bit of thunder, but largely uninteresting.

Some bright echoes near Nottingham in the past 15 minutes. Any reports?

Well no storms here but the sun is very nice. A few clouds around but no rain.

There seems a nice line of cells heading towards the London area:

Ooh, the sun is shining through the cloud. Good stuff. Meanwhile the stuff to our north and west just keeps on coming; looking more promising for round 2 later?
