Little belter coming my way in south essex, lightning every 10 seconds!!

Can you believe here in Shoebury I got as couple of flashes and rumbles out of that.

Whoever is underneath that is gonna know about it, those clouds look menacing, lucky sods

Typical, huge flash just now, lights flickered.

Excellent show of lightening, hail and rain here in Rochford, loved the way the clouds rolled in, havent a formation do that for years. Roads well flooded now.

After quite a uneventful day apart from some pretty good convection around mid-day but whats that coming to Tyne & Wear..??

Hope it stays together as it looks to be heading for my location probably hit when i'm on my motorbike visiting my father in hospital..!!

Yeah looks like the classic convergence down the east coast that often arises when the wind suddenly veers NNW'ly. Expect some very heavy downpours and perhaps even the odd rumble of thunder.

Can confirm great Rotation with this Essex Cell and Marble Sized Hail which hit my knuckle and Stung. Followed this down the A127 Where Lightning was flashing every 10 Seconds or so as previous poster stated. The Cloud base was literally hugging the ground and one or two half hearted attemps at a Funnel Cloud as well. It is still rumbling away but heading out towards the North Sea Now.

2 Storms today so a very nice day Storm Wise.

Lol

Yep if I had Pats Daytime Trigger would have just bagged a Double IC Lightning bolt right across the front of the Strong Rainbow now.

But it has buggered me from Cutting the grass now for Sundays Netweather BBQ.

Picked some of the Hail up though and threw it at Mr Cameron who is here tonight LOL

Ooooh I am out in Hertfordshire for the week. Missing the home storms, although had a couple of good ones here today. Sounds like some distant rumbling out there now, and very black but not sure of my directions from here.

Can't say I knew about the Eseex storm, though there were several potent cells that moved through during the afternoon. Had a weak cell moved through about an hour ago which was much stronger further west and seems to be the talking point here...had a great presentation from where I was.
