Well the area more towards Southend got much more than 2-3" AFT

I will post some pics in a mo, but have also measured 5-6" level snow, the roads around here are an absolute nightmare tbh, am attempting to get in on the C2C Line as the trains are running amazingly!

This is also powder snow and great for making snowmen

A wonderful 6 inches this morning in Brighton. I think this is just beating February's onslaught!

Lovely pictures so far from many of you, thanks.

Very jealous over here in Norwich although we have had some snow so I won't complain......well not too much anyway.

Anyone fancy telling me what they think Norwichs chances of more snow this morning are? Radar has shown clouds swerving norwich so my confidence is a ltlle low.

Jealous Jon - Norwich.

After a snowless evening and no snow when I went to bed, got up and we'd had a couple of inches overnight, which is a relief. Radar shows a line of showers to the north of Cambridgeshire. Not sure if they're going to get further south to top it up. South Cambs got hammered.

just a side thought........

Isnt it strange why neither Philip Eden or Hadley have updated the daily CET for several days ?

Perhaps the political implications ( ie: truth being seen ) during the current Climate conference have something to do with it ! :wallbash:

All the schools are closed in our city.

Pathetic really. If this was 20yrs ago when I was at school none of these would of been closed.

Considering its the last day of school , might be the reason they decided to just close them anyway?

A couple of inches or so here in Lee, thought we would've had a little more by day-break, streamer didnt quite come off.

Some nice fluffy flakes coming down for the last 15 minutes or so.

And that, I believe, is my 1,000th post. :wallbash:

Regards,

Tom.

Fantastic pictures. You lucky peolpe.

Down here in Bournemouth winter has started, just phoned golf course and they tell me that they are on summer greens and tees but it is a bit chilly so you may want to put a jumper on!

Yeah, that is the reason many school have closed, many were only half days accros Herts so thats why so many are closed here also.
