Have had about 4 inches. Just started getting heavy again.

Woke up to a covering in Northampton and continuing to snow steadily!

Quite good compared to Feb 09 event, never expected this much!

Maidstone has a good 6 inches (Mote Park area) of level snow with both Bluebell Hill and Detling Hill closed.

Still snowing hard!!!

Yep! Seems liek we have had more snow then where it was predicted to be so bad! Amazing how these things change!

Remember on Wednesday Herts were not even in the METO warnings!

Getting heavier again and BIG Time Lights flickering again, thought that was all over last night LOL

As it is kinda getting light will get some pics of depth etc before 3 little girls destroy the snowcover, they are chomping at the bit to get outside

Weird, in south east London, Peckham Rye/Nunhead to be precise, we had plenty of heavy snow last night but very little has settled. Not sure why that happened, would ground temps have been higher? In fact it appears to have thawed slightly?

Good news. I work up near Rochester airport, so a day off for me I think . Down here by the River Medway west of Maidstone, we have 6 inches so lord knows how much you must have on top of the downs.
