Yes, W.Norfolk and parts of Cambs I think.

The North Sea is like one giant snow machine due to the high sea temperatures.

Well snow flurries this evening now covering up the bare ice areas and adding to the 5cms or so we had last night....and from the look of the radar to my north plenty more to come through the evening, as i type flakes getting bigger and intensity increasing

The night I dont expect anything and I could be nicely suprised!

Surely that stream of ppn off the East coast heading towards The Wash is going to have some impact on Norfolk, East Cambs, West Suffolk and possibly further south.

It is buliding in intensity and is making a beeline for Norfolk now.

a few pics to wet your tastebuds

Love the dogs and cat photo, great!.

Radars pepping up showers now off east Kent, should see some larger showers pushing in soon?. Looks like some of them are heavy. Whats the technical spec on this evening, dew points? intensifying etc?.

Going to be another hour before we get the reports from the Deal and Dover contingent!.

Neil, There is another possibility...that the channel streamer gets pushed west onto Kent - and ignites- so to speak- with possible thundersnow...and there is another possibility - that the whole lot slides south to clobber France. The next hour or so are crucial. Watch like a hawk!

Not sure of that yet , but as you said watch like a hawk :)

Neil, whats the chance of a stream affecting east kent tonight running from EA all the way down to Folkestone ??

Well going by the models , met office warnings we are running out of time.It really needs to snow in the next couple of hours before it shunts south and just flirts the kent coast if that

why is the East (Essex/Suffolk etc) in a "orange flash warning zone" - we going to get 15cm of snow ?

<I'll get my coat>

looks like they got last night right, and tonight wrong

I'm sure some of those showers coming through W Norflk/Suffolk and E Cambs will get further South than predicted. They are getting further inland than I expected.

BBC/Weather suggests heavy snow for Herts tonight is that correct or a load of cods...?

Exactly!! Something to keep an eye on.

Might be a bit of wishful thinking...I am in the firing line if they do make it as far as London, but more hope than head there.
