For you folk in North London, your about to receive a period of heavy snow!

Front is moving quickly though, so won't last a long while, but you should get a covering.

Just seen the first flakes here, seems like a bit of a wintry mix now, but a start...Lets hope the temps drop, because the latest radar is looking excellent - If even only for a short time!

evening yamkin whats your thoughts on tonight. so is monday a possibility bbc saying rain

Evening/Morning snowbob, the band of ppn has got intensity in it so a good covering is expected. This will only add to the lying snow cover here in Shirley, Croydon and surrounding areas.

Mixed bag about Monday, but the possibility is there for snow.

Yep radar confirms the strongest of the snow is plusing up the front so I'd expect this to hit central/eastern south Essex quite hard, I'll be too far west for the heaviest stuff but should still get some moderate precip.

Also be very careful on the roads, its quite heavy in places and therefore be careful!

What temperature are you recording there at the moment? Seems a tad warm for snow here now.

I'm hoping the warm sector bit shifts away as the front pushes in so if there is any rain it'll quickly turn back to snow
