The front seems to be moving back south now - there's always a chance of a few flakes between now and midday tomorrow - definite easterly wind now as it's playing a tune on our back window!

Well ENE wind here, mostly light at the moment, but hope temp falls enough then between now and when the front gets back here, providing there is anything left to fall in it when it gets back here anyway.

Yep. I almost want 2-3 weeks of mild bartlett zonality to "reset" things and then get a renewed blast of winter in mid-late Jan/Feb. This cold slushy wetness while waiting for a snowy big freeze, and constantly getting dissapointed, is getting depressing, at least you know what you're gonna get with a bartlett and tropical SWlys.

looking at traffic Wales cams - heads of the valleys seems to be snowing a fair bit up there right now!

Definitely a big freeze coming in the next ten days - minus 4s at nights and -1s and -2s during the days - but not sure about snow???

it feels bitterly cold out now, it's only 14.4 degrees in the house, i like it 25C tropical lol

looks like the front is now dieing as it comes back south - this is more of a problem as well with north to south precip as the mountains take most of it as it travels towards us!!!!!!!!
