Woo, woke up and have 12cm of snow on the ground and still falling. Should have some moderate to heavy snow in another 20mins i guess. :) :)

coming down very nicely here, the radar worrys me, 1 min moving south then the next update shows it going almost due west which is exactly what we need for all of us. Even if that means people further south dont get the snow immediately it will prolong it for some and still move south at some point. better for those further west aswell obviously.

Big thick flakes now.

You can't prolong it forever in Leicester , this is all going to sink South in the next hour or so and then Move back East and do London again later. That's it for Leicester for now. Could be it for this winter , I doubt it but it is possible :)

Snow getting heavier again.

Having looked at the radar again, there is a more southern movement to this snow and that would take it away from us quite soon.

Started snowing heavily again here - might have to delay our sledging trip for a bit.

Hope these pictures work....

Aston le Walls - about an hour ago.

Indeed, if it could start heading more westerly again then we would do quite well! Still coming down here but starting to brighten up a bit now. Should think this will end soon.

Very nice band hitting northants, dry spot to my NE is not reaching me and another band behind that is heading our way.

Snowing here in rushden too but we've barely got 2cm still :(

Looks like everywhere near us got good snow apart from others in north east anglia.

I suppose I can't complain as we got good snow in Dec and amazing snow in Feb.

I've got some snow here, but what's it like elsewhere. Here it's the powdery, light rubbish. Atleast I've got some though

A good 20++cm here, falling again in dinner-plate sized flakes

Just been out in the show. Not snowing here, but there are some drifts that go over my boots! I think I'm going to have to invest in a 4x4 one of these days...

Why do people think powder snow is rubbish? It's better than wet snow which melts in an hour. This will stick around for days.

Internet died for a while but now back on. Completely stopped now and I don't think I will get anymore today.

Bizarrely the temperature is now starting to plummet slightly! Down 0.3c in half an hour, -0.6c now so no danger of any melting.
