It snowed in Cardiff???

Amazingly, yes!! And quite a lot. Its not been big chunks of snow more like drizzle snow but its persistent and really starting to build up now, I would say about 4cm here.

Everyone else got there first.

Just heard a thud and what i was sure was a snowball against my window, however nobody about , and on further inspection a large raft of snow has fallen from the roof.

Its always much better when your expectations are at there least.

Light to moderate now, cars getting up hill easier.

We're having rubbish ice crystals here. On the northern edge of it. It seems to fizzle out by the time it gets here.

Someone give me something positive

How was my forecast last night?

Having a bad night, smashed car going down a hill, doing 3mph, totally lost it, hit kerb and post.

Left wheel is turned slightly so nightmare to drive 5 miles back home.

Could be expensive.

Where is the heavy stuff supposed to come from, still drizzle here. Radar doesnt show any increase in intensity. Can see freezing rain in cornwall tho

more heavy snow to come in this front - be patient

Im in Gabalfa. Its not quite 2 inches yet here but I guess you are slighlty further North and probably higher up. I dont know exactly if those slight differences would make a huge difference.

It must be quite annoying for you up there as all the little estates are on hills arent they. I was up there during the last snowfall and everyone had parked on the road rather than at the back of their houeses in the the little side streets.

NEWS24 has a reporter in Devon of all places and they are really concerned about Exeter - but hardly a mention about Wales - more concerned with the English I'm afraid!

I'm 7 or 8 miles south and quite a bit higher than the town itself. The main(ish) road near my house is passable with care (atm), the lanes I walked along earlier were probably just about passable with a tractor or big 4x4.

I'm pretty sure it won't be half as bad in town, if you stick to the main roads. Altitude seems to be making a big difference. And, it will melt quick if the temps rise much more...

Check out BBC Travel, they've got reliable, current info.

It's snow on the sky dish. If you can reach with a brush make sure you get it off the bit that pokes out the front facing the dish. Will work then....
