GFS showing some precip still in the next few hours around the Pennine areas from 1800-2100UT, co-inciding with the 'clear slot' that's placed between the Southern Cu field from Wales to the Wash. And the Northern in the Lakes.

Seems that Salisbury Plain has bred some showers if you zoom on NW radar to BA12 or BA13 but very pulse type with rapid increase in

rain rate then decrease again. Showers seem to be in the Devizes/Melksham/Corsham area of Wiltshire with the Plain to the S/SE helping

them form and then drift NW.

Two lots of showers forming up here. One over the SW/W Lakes - seems to be decaying, second group over Central/N Lakes seems to be holding fairly steady at the moment. Sun out here again now.

Yes the one in Norfolk/East Cambs seems to be building and heading towards me. I hope it keeps building up and doesn't collapse.

Definitely lots of convection down South yep.

My radar also shows there has been some strikes associated with that cell up in Cumbria!

Interesting times. :D

If they would just head toward the South Downs at around 18.30 and use the natural lift, that would be fine ta! :good:

Can't see it just collapsing if there are no major hills to cross. If it's heading towards you then you should get a sharp shower at the very least, but I think you will get a few strikes of lightning from that.

lots of action in my area now, with lots of big towering clouds (bout as technical as i will get) building up and heavy showers breaking out :) might see a storm after all

wish I had NW extra as trying to rely on raintoday.com is a right pain

Enjoying the dynamic skies and yes will be watching to see if anything pops up.

I was wrong again. Larkhill did a midday sounding.:good: There is certainly some moist air at medium levels.

It doesn't take much to get some of you excited lol. Not much happening here. A few clouds but warm and sunny otherwise.
