Hello,

Well there is some more local development of AcCas in the skies now and some trends do appear favourable such as falling Air Pressure and rapidly rising Temperature but I still question the Dewpoints? Are they going the right way and are they high enough for storm development? Currently 12.6c from a high of 13.9c earlier. :unknw:

I attach some latest data from my weather station to prove what I'm saying.

What are the chances guys n gals?

Cheers

PS! the dewpoint is changing by the minute, it's on the rise again! :yahoo:

Can see the top of the cell that went up near Medway Towns from Southend, very flat and mushy top, the initial growth was rapid but dying off in the latest radar scan, indicitive of these Pulse Type Storms, overhead near the coast on Essex is Capped to F*** Not even seen Cumulus floating around, that Shower must have orographically lifted of the Northern limits of the South Downs.

Good Signs Though :good:

Lovely isn't it to see the unstable atmosphere. Never thought I'd say this in April but the Alt Cas is bringing relief

every so often by going over the hot sun! (I was working outside).

I'd suggest watching towards the Mendips again from around 15.00 onwards, although having said that I don't see why

Salisbury Plain couldn't be a breeding ground either!

Enjoying the dynamic skies and yes will be watching to see if anything pops up.

I think you'll be lucky; the army have probably knocked off for the easter.:shok:

It is interesting that if you look on XCWeather there is a slither of Much Moister air running from Herstymoo up towards Southend on Sea, literally about 50 miles and either side the Dp's are about 4-5c, Southend currently 70/52c whereas Manston at 68/39 and London City at 72/43

Which suggests it may struggle to keep going as it moves into the late 30 and low 40 Dp's as it loses it's moisture feed

Well I'm certainly hoping for something later as currently there's so much cloud going up it's blocking the sun for long intervals. Have passed the 25C mark however for the first time this year, earliest since 2003 and feeling lovely nonetheless.

About 15 mins ago, there was a robust, towering Cu just south of me.

Looking better than has done in all of 2011 in fact lol. and felt much better today (humidity definitely up). Any showers/storms that form will collapse on themselves in a very short space of time. If there are any bolts around today, you'll be exceptionally lucky IMO.

As I am up here for a few days might as well add there are a few showers and some nice clouds forming over the Lakeland hills at the moment.

Clouding up here at the moment (near Kendal)
