Just noticed the Met Office have issued a severe weather warning (at 13.14) for much of eastern England from the North East to North Norfolk from 15.00 to 22.00 today. Looks like they are expecting storms to build for many more hours to come.

Anyone near canterbury, look towards Herne.. Looks like some development but it could just be sea breezes causing some slight convection :whistling: :whistling:

Got towers building just upwind of the Valley towards Brown Knoll (southern end of Kinder Scout for anyone who knows the area, towards Edale.) Again with topographic uplift similar to the Leeds cell.

Can see that from here in Leigh On Sea on the Northern Estuary as well Neil.

Looks pretty but not been doing much in the last hour or so. Still the positive is that it is even there and we can see TCU Which I did not even think we would see today. :good:

Dark skies now forming to the south of Leeds and to a lesser extent over towards Morley. One of the (very) few benefits of working in an office is the view you get of the surrounding area!

Isn't the England Cricket on at Trent Bridge today? might be worth keeping a eye on developments down in Nottingham later on, nothing in that general area just yet.

We won the test match a few days ago, it's just the repeat on Sky Sports 1 now.

I'm open to correction on this one but it looks now as if NSC membership is pretty much now confined to people in an area from the Welsh Marches eastwards into parts of the North and West Midlands west of Birmingham.

Watch as the CZ Gets it's act together from the Sea Breeze Boundary pushing against the SW Breeze and Booooom :good:  :hi:

Beginning to see TCU round here now, temp has rocketed to 29c!!

Yes, most definitely agree there Carl. At this rate with the East side having storms it looks like we are never going to see a storm again .:cc_confused::cray:
