Its gone from blue sky to bubbly clouds in like 15 mins, That storm in buzzard is sooooo close

Can't see anything from my office window just yet....i can't see how that cell can miss us. Then again, i've been thinking that all year and got nothing.

Given this and your post yesterday evening, I can't help but think that here in Bury St Eds I could end up in a sweet spot today. :drinks:

Ooh I do hope so. Camera is charging as I type, portable AM radio has fresh batteries and everything is crossed. Just got to go shopping and then in for the rest of the day!!

Have we offended someone I wonder? Or does someone up there have something against Westerners? We really are getting the rough end of things this year.

Very spooky landscape out to my west. 2 large anvils and the one southernmost has a massive pertruding CU bubble blasting out of the top of it. Impressive thunder too.

As Harry has just posted there a couple of Cells that have popped up at Oxford and Bicester. Based on the direction the Leighton Buzzard cell is heading in I would give you more chance of a direct hit from those 2 if they have any potency

Nothing.....very innocuous. The only sort of development I can see is to the east of me so undoubtedly something between our locations.

Hot here, can't wait for cooler air! Lots of cloud bubbling up but I'm too far west for anything exciting. Great amount building to the East of me though and if I stand upstairs I can literally see the sky darkening connstantly in that direction.
