Temperature here has been about 1.3 for the past hour, dew point worryingly rising steadily at -1.0 right now, hopefully it will decrease as night draws close

1.5c but dew -3c fingers crossed

Can't wait for tonight! I'm out shopping right now and then I'm going to visit my mum in east london. I will stay there until early this evening and then head back home to north london so I can lamp post watch :)

OK, its really down to the radar watching now as I think its less about 'will we or won't we?', and more about 'how long will I have to dig myself out for, to get to somewhere where I can sledge?' !!!!

Really hope everybody gets everything they are looking for and it runs for long enough to enjoy it!

Essex Weather Centre has just tweeted this:

Latest model run (06Z) has upgraded snow totals once again. 13-15CM over Northern Essex and 8-10CM in the South.

Goes along with the theme of a general upgrade I think for most areas from the 6z

Snowing very light here and temp has dropped from 2.1C-1.9C hopefully tonight it'll drop rather than rise as the MO is suggesting it'll rise.

Yes It's a concern, currently I have a reading of 2.2 but it it has been v.lightly snowing for the past 15 mins or so.

Not stalled yet

I dont think it is forcasted to stall at all now Liam. Should slow down once it gets our way but this is not likely to be until evening time. Its only reached around the Exeter area right now.

Meto saying accumulations of 5-10cm still for my area.

If there isn't enough to sledge and cause a snow day on Monday I shant be happy.

Dew Point Freezing or below

Temp anything from 3c or below, preferably 2c and lower

I think the general consensus is between 8pm and 10pm for the region covered by this thread - obviously if you are in the east of the region, it will be at the late end of that.

Can't see anything on the radar to suggest anything different, although a few light showers are possible ahead of the main bands of PPN
