Wet snow 10 mins ago has now quicky turned to the proper stuff and is now starting to pitch quite readily.

A good 3/4inches by the end of the night I reckon Cold air is undercutting quickly

Still drizzle with occasional sleet so far. Temp. is gradually dropping though, currently at 1.2C. Just a normal winter night so far.

ok here a queston for you ..if we do get some snow what kind of amounts to expect ??

Anywhere from 2cm to 5cm widely, and possibly up to 10cm in worst affected areas going by the forecasts.

Just as the heavy stuff was about to hit here (according to the NW radar), it all turned to freezing rain!

 Couldn't write this stuff!

Rain getting sleetier in Winterbourne BS36. Signs from 'up north' starting to look better - hope it turns soon.
