Still no showers here.

Beautiful sunshine at the moment. Feels really nice, shame it wasnt like this yesterday

It was very nice in the sun earlier quite warm. Quite chilly now heavy rain then drizzle for about an hour. My cousin in harrow said he heard a rumble, no such luck here

Well alot cooler by the end of the week,Possible over night frosts...Still praying for a decent summer though.

Drizzle for an hour? Hard to imagine on a sunshine and showers day like today!

Still beaming sun here!

Hoping for another dry day tomorrow

Ended up being a couple of hours of heavy rain interspersed by light rain/drizzle, sun tried to come out which gave a weak rainbow. Not that unusual if your unlucky enough to be under a constant steam of showers....even more unlucky to hear that central London got a few flashes and rumbles while I only got rain from the same cells grrr. Hope tomorrow delivers!

No rain here yesterday as all the showers passed to the north. Woken this morning to sun but now it's gone very dark out over the Channel - radar shows some small but hefty showers out there! Hopefully there'll be some thunder in there

No rain here yesterday, all showers passed to the South of me, hence why east London and my friend who works at Canary Wharf confirmed a very thundery shower around 5:30pm - lots of thunder and very heavy rain.

Hoping to miss the showers again today as it feels very pleasant out there in the sunshine.

As we move into Weekend showers becoming fewer and further between - good news for me anyway.

Seems to be way more showers around so far today than this time yesterday, would expect them to become more intense as the day goes on to. Missed a shower while I was in work, but looks to be plenty around.

less showers but will feel rather chilly this weekend with temps struggling to make it into double figures and a ne breeze.

More and more lightning strikes being recorded across the UK, up to 100/hour now though only 1 in EA and a few in SE, thunderstorms are favourite weather type, but only ever seem to see them when Im in the states.

Something brewing over to my N/NW now which will hopefully might give me more than the 5 mins of hail I've had so far today - still it's been a good excuse to sit in the conservatory 'cloud watching' through the glass roof :angel:

At about 4pm today we had a cracking storm. Lots of hail rain thunder and stuff. Not had such a good storm in about 4 yrs here. Recorded 6mm of rain in the 1.5 hrs the storm took to go over. Perfect April day so far.

Must of been artificial from a machine.

No way snow could have fallen, uppers and air temps far to warm.

Even lowland Scotland struggle in this kind of set up including today

Probably soft hail as a lot of the showers today have fallen as hailstones

I didn't believe it, as you say just not right conditions, either that or wind up.

just checking in from North Pembrokeshire where apart from Monday the weather has been pretty lovely. Looming clouds not actually depositing rain, warm sun, gin clear light, winds off the Irish Sea stinging faces. All this outdoor activity somewhat mitigated by roast lamb, welsh cider, pub lunches, perl las (not necessarily in that order)

Can I PLEASE request a favour ?

Between 1.30 and 2.30 a very heavy shower passed over whitstable/herne/herne bay and dropped alot of hail and intense rainfall!. Some of the grass started to go white and there was flooding in parts, what was also very noticable was a temp drop to just 2C it went from 7.5C down to 2C and it looked very sleety/slushy in the hilly parts of herne, kent.

What I need is a radar image of that time and any reports of such a low temp?
