Still a little bit of interest for wintry weather fans persists in the outputs with both GFS & ECM going for a smallish chance of some wintry weather on sunday...all depends on the track on a secondary feature expected to develop and move ENE across central southern UK overnight saturday into sunday...ECM updates in the next couple of hours. Certainly worth keeping an eye on outputs over the next couple or so days

The 18Z GFS still keen for something wintry during Sunday morning as an area of precipitation sinks down from the North-West/North.

With uppers around -4/5*C and with the 500 - 1000 thickness level below 528, this should support wintry weather. The Dewpoints, however, look a little marginal, so snow may only be restricted for high ground, although if we get enough heavy precipitation around, evapourative cooling could help drag snow down to lower levels.

Could become downgraded, but I hope we do see some rain, at least, to give the ground a bit of a soaking.

Getting tired of the constant fog here, have had foggy weather since Monday, despite promises of sunshine. Feels very cold and clammy out today, fog is thicker than it was yesterday.

Revolting day. Perhaps one of the worst March days in a long long time. Thank god this will soon shift. Probably will return next week. The SE has done good today but only because they have some drier air from France and most of them havent seen the sun all week till today!

Has been absolutely awful today!

We've had thick cloud, drizzle and it's so cold it's stupid.

Even the cold spell in january wasn't as cold as it was today, I suppose it's the dampness of the air and lack of sun.

I really wanted to get out on the allotment today, but the weather was so depressing that I stayed in lol!

better than rain all day mind you, nothing worse than that, 12Z still going for a nasty easterly around mid next week, could last a few days, proper warm weather a long way off yet

No mist or fog here tonight, just cloud so hopefully a better chance of sunny spells tomorrow should things remain the same overnight. :)

How utterly predictable that this weekends rain is now vanishing off the charts for here to

Telford seems to be destined to slate grey skies and nothing else these days, no rain, no snow, no sun, nothing

Yep, none or very little rain this weekend now. Any rain at least a week away again now and even that will probably be downgraded. At least much more sunshine this weekend and next week should be a little brighter.

Today was cloudy all day but it has been all over the UK however in comparable to yesterdays AWFUL fog and cold, today has been a fair bit better still!

4 out of 5 days this week i had slate grey skies as well, yesterday was quite nice though, but wall to wall sunshine is as rare as snow.

yep true that the rain typically downgrades too

Well we can't be too far off some decent weather can we?

Hopefully april will be as good as the last few have been, it's lovely to sit in the garden with the appleblossom petals fluttering slowlydown around where you sit, whilst you sip your favourite glass od wine and listen to the birds sing with the sun on your face...........*sighs*

Looks like we had a spell of wet stuff last night with the ground very wet. Cloudy conditions invading Solihull, although there is a few signs of the cloud breaking up with some brightness leaking through. Also seems to be much clearer conditions coming in from the West with a sizeable area of blue sky in the distance. All of this observed from... a bus window. ;-)

Wonderful to see the sun again!

Just goes to show that if there is 'all day' rain forecast, the sun will always come out lol :p

Got nothing but drizzle last night, literally just 0.1mm that barely wet the ground

Currently got a light shower, hopefully a heavy one can hit us as its our last chance of rain for a while!

A couple of heavy showers here but we had nothing last night. Overall, the very dry outlook continues but maybe subtle signs of something a little more unsettled into April but this is well into FI currently.
