That rain was awesome round here, it left behind some massive puddles.

There are showers in the Channel currently, in fact one is moving towards Brighton, but unfortunately ( or fortunately? ) it's decaying. I'd never say never, but I'd think you weren't in the most favoured spot.

Just started raining big drops but sun is out too so guess we are on the edge of something here, so frustrating!

Looking out my work window (NE direction), all I can see at the moment are fair weather cumulus. Funny really.

You may well get lucky yet...

Northeast Kent coast looks pretty dramatic at the moment, as Victor was implying.

Looks like a small but very intense cell over southwest London at the moment.

Well the Kempston storm sheild was in full effect, watched the cell heading my way survive from swindon past oxford and then fizzle out just before it hits kempston. wallbash.gif

No rain yet in loughton. Heard two rumbles of thunder though towards my south around half hour ago

Big black clouds heading in my direction from the SW now.. Hopefully get some rain for my garden as just cut the grass.

Looks like a pretty heavy shower to my west, at work and probably heading this way. The question is, am I going to be sad enough to wait for it, or head on home?

Jeez... Loughton Essex has turned into a pool.

Very heavy rain - hailstones as well. No thunder or lightning though.

These kind of downpours I experienced in Florida.

Although I'm not a fan of wet weather this is certainly making me a fan of summer downpours...

Oooo...radar looks interesting. Let's see if the usual happens; it dies when it gets near Norwich. Lol.laugh.png

It's certainly been humid here today, temps 23/24c.
