The wall of stratocumulus moving through Wales will be here within minutes so looks like business as usual weather is returning :( after what has been a truly glorious spell of weather.

Cloudy and 20.8c here, the heavy showers around as usual dodging us but inflicting the overcast skies.

Id rather them stay away so we could have sunshine then slide 5 miles south of us, it just makes the pain worse

Hopefully the sharp showers on the Welsh border can build a bit further south as it looks like those ones will slide 5 miles north in an hours time to rub salt in the wounds

Well if they do I'll be in the same boat as they'll slip just south of here. I give up lol!

The sun always make skies look so much darker yet when the sun hides, its almost just normal cloud! A little darker to my North but otherwise all quiet here.

Just started to rain here in Dudley, and the wind had picked right up as well. 5 minutes ago there was pretty much no wind. It's getting darker & darker as well.

Edit: Now heavy rain, and still getting darker!

Knew it  you always get the downpours/heavier snow/sunshine when it's cloudy here, nothing but the odd spot of rain here with bright skies and the heavy showers north and south

that clump of precip nr Wolverhampton has side swiped me, heading towards Lichfield/Tamworth.....The bad news is that it appears that all cells in the west midland are currently dissipating.....not good

Well, I didnt get a Thunderstorm though sure I saw one lightning flash but the rain was exceptional. The heaviest core must have been right over us. I notice how its all heading East now when it was heading NE before hence we got hit very nicely. biggrin.png

Overall, very happy as weve enjoyed another very warm day also. :D

A nice very heavy shower here now. Kinda did not expect this, though it seemed to have come from that intensifying shower to the South/South-West.
