Snow here on grass and cars :p as of 10 minutes ago, the snow has stopped. I have to admit I though the rain had already come because my patio is wet with no snow:(

lol i got about 1-2cm here where it has stuck.. i bloody hope that band stays as snow :p

A very pretty dusting here in Ealing, west London, thanks to that system backing northerly last night. Is the second band early? The entire thing seems likely to enter the London area at about 9.30am

Yes, it will be a look out of the window job... I can't see it happening here, but you never know!

Excellent ECM btw that prolongs the cold into the weekend...

My met office app on my phone shows a top temp this week (today!) of 3c!

Woke up early excited and went straight to the window. Ground wet, cars a small covering. Just checked the lamp post and a few flakes have started swirling down, these are the first flakes I've seen since 2011! drinks.gif (I lived in S.Wales last year by the sea and saw NADA!)

In Imperial Wharf Fulham btw.

Oh, my decking and my slide as well!

Have you noticed how much colder in Charlwood it seems to be than your weather station AS? - it's at least a degree...

I think it is partly because of the rural location of Charlwood compared to in town here. Also. my weather station external sensor is mounted on a fence post, north facing, but is in the side alley between our house and the neighbours' house. I had to decide between a more exposed position that would get direct sun and really skew the readings, and a sheltered but north-facing spot which probably also skews the readings but by a lot less. I might relocate it and see whether the readings come more in line

Lol they measure in Kentimetres down there surely you knew that ???

1cm = 4 Kentimetres

Absolutely zilch here, dry as a bone! Bah

Yes, I thought it must be the difference of countryside (although the Charlwood weather station is right at the end of the runway!)
