BBC London news appears to put both of us in the snow zone for later, rain south London etc. that all said, their forecast at 2230 last night was entirely WRONG (they said no ppn would reach us, never mind fall as snow and settle) so why I listen to them I do not know. :-)

That's good we are in the snow zone for later though temps are rising after the cold front so it would melt, however we may get more tonight as that occlusion swings back. Who knows?! Nice to see a dusting

Nae shows kent getting 20mm from 18z today through to 6z tuesday when the cold wrap around has come back..... Could this all fall as snow?

Woken to a very light dusting. Roads and paths clear for the morning rush hour though.

It's very pretty out Shame it's going to get rained on later....grr

Have woken to a winter wonderland, 4 inchs in garden level,trees look fantastic everthing coated wth a big chunky looking snow , must of been big flakes in the night ,,

T emps are good to when i looked at midnight it was +2, nows its -0.6c , really wish this sleet,rain wasent coming now i would be more than happy keeping what ive got ,

i know it sounds selfish, but was suprized this morn , now i want to keep!!!!!

Morning all. Light dusting here on cars and grass and v light intermittent snow.

For those writing off the rest of the week, East Kent posts shows what can crop up without too much warning.

FWIW ECM now coming on board with UKMO on the undercutting low at the end of the week which would I imagine deliver more than enough for everyone here!

Six hours of snow on bbc graphics with possibly 20mm precip thatd be 2.5 cm per hour ie met office definition of heavy snow..... Could be interesting laters peeps.....
