Still snowing in Nottingham. Hasn't stopped since about 7pm. My car, which I cleared yesterday now has about 6cm on it. Should make for an interesting drive to work tomorrow!!

There has been light snow all night and looks to have been another 2-3cm outside. I wonder what today will bring, I am now under a yellow warning for snow and it is still snowing, although nothing heavy.

Mod heavy snow here all night, around 40cm so far, has turned lighter in the last 30min.

Still light/mod snow here, looking at the radar we could get a few more hours of snowfall out of this front.

Absolutely amazing here this morning, the snow is the deepest ive seen it in Leicester. I put one of those 15cm ruler's in the back garden before i left for work and it came upto 12-13cm but that wasnt even on the grass because we dont have any in the back!

Looks like it snowed continually from about 10pm last night until now. Though we are now on the bottom of the radar band.

Overall 13cm lying snow in total, with melts and compaction over the past week, we must have had around 20cm overall this week.

Was in Ashby yesterday where it snowed continually from 9am throughout the day - couldn't believe it when we got back to Nottingham at about 5pm and it basically hadn't snowed all day.

Ah well! Good things come to those who wait - the kids have finally got a snow day from school.

We've been clinging to the bottom edge of this front for the last couple of hours here. Thought it would have pushed on over us a while ago - not complaining though!

In London today, apart from the trains being a complete nightmare, it keeps trying to snow. The London Metro paper claims we are in for a week of temps that will plummett to -20C in the midlands....

Hmmm.. the models don't agree?

15cm level cover here in Newark, drifts exceeding 20cm's comfortably.

Chances of snow spreading north overnight tonight- anyone got a chart demonstrating this; haven't taken a look today.

Some very cold nights ahead this week, models are showing a breakdown to something less colder at the weekend but it woiuldn't take much to keep us in the freezer
