All forecasts for todayw ere spot on i would say.

Well perhaps nearly all forecasts were correct. The forecast for Bognor and for Portsmouth was just sleet. As you can imagine I was over the moon to wake up to it snowing and to eventually get 5 inches settled. Dog loved it too, racing round and round the garden like a mad thing. Then he realised he had bare feet and ran indoors. doh.gif

Now I am hoping the sleet forecast for here tomorrow will be snow showers again.

Is it me going mad? Looking at the radar atm (8pm), it looks like a mini low pressure has formed over Devon, the line of showers in the channel curls round to those over exmoor / south Somerset? Or is it my eyes going funny from too much snow?!

Pretty much falling as rain over Cornwall, abr the highest of high ground and turning more wintry as they head into Devon, more especially inland and North Devon.

Oops, never should I forget, Dorset too. Who knows keep them going and they get blown all the way to Berkshire. However, I think I'm getting a wee bit carried away there. tease.gif

I see those brighter echoes over Wales are heading towards the Westcountry, hope they hold up. That would be a nice little bonus.

Just been out for a walk in the snow to feed the ducks and swans and there was any hardly thaw of the snow around here at all after the main event late this morning, still a good 3,4 inches on the ground.
