Ok obvious quesion alert, dont flame me.

With all this snow expected , and all the readings of cold atmosphere... why all the rain this time round?, not enough cold air ?, or a wind direction change?, i hate mild wet conditions, snowy and cold is best

Looks like we need to be booking flights to New England then. 3ft of snow in 24hrs is insane.

With mean winds at 30mph and gusts to 60mph, the drifts will be mental.

Any webcams available?

Yup we've got snow now too, had sleety rain for about 20 mins before hand so ground far to wet to settle

Well at the moment we are all very much in the same boat so I can't see the point...but that might change if some need sledges and others don't

Anyway those of us in the three counties and east Anglia have been making a great effort to learn the lingo of you lot from London and the sarf east so we can understand you all better...

...so it would be a shame to split up now

Well the weekend starts here. I hope you all get the weather you desire over the next few days and if you don't, well there are plenty of worse things!

And mine starts here....... and I intend to enjoy it no matter what the weather decides to do

Would not like to say at the moment, any more south corrections by the 18z and 00z models and we are back in the game, but on the most recent runs namely the 12z's it is not looking likely for anything of note bar some wintryness not settling.

From the 12z's

Sunday = Very Wet with temps about 4c

Monday = Dismal cold and grey with Slops and 3c

Tuesday = Dry with a slack east breeze and 3c

If things can change the all of the above could change soo much, but seeing as the colliding airmass currently half way between us and the NE USA has not even caught upto the stationery Front across the west yet we just do not know how this LP is going to react come Sunday.

Tomorrow at 9pm should have a decent handle on it though I would have thought

If I can't have a Kent Slapper or a channel low I'd rather have mild weather and an early spring. Can't be arsed with these slider/front stalling scenarios for my area. I have seen 2 inches all winter.
